The Cindy Hollingshead Scholarship Fund honors her 39 years of service as the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation’s executive secretary. The fund distributes $1,500 awards to Ohio residents who are attending accredited two- and four-year colleges statewide. To apply, candidates must:

5. Clarke Price Accounting Scholarship

The Clarke Price Accounting Scholarship is sponsored by the Ohio Society of CPAs. It grants $2,000 to Ohioans. They must be enrolled full-time in a bachelor’s or master’s program to fulfill the 150-hour requirement for becoming a Certified Public Accountant. Interested applicants must:

The Ohio Transfer Council annually distributes multiple, one-time $1,000 David Gall Memorial Scholarships. They go to undergraduates transferring from one participating Ohio college to another. Eligibility criteria requires:

  • completing at least 24 semester or 36 quarter credits
  • being enrolled at least half-time
  • carrying a minimum “B” average
  • exhibiting financial need

Each summer, the Ohio Department of Higher Education also hosts the Ohio War Orphans Scholarship Program. It supports the children of deceased or catastrophically disabled Ohio Armed Forces veterans who served overseas in war.
